Jeanine López holds a degree in Tourism and a degree in Advertising and Public Relations, along with a master’s degree in Tourism Marketing and Communication. After beginning her career in the tourism sector, she joined the Girona Chamber of Commerce in 2007 as part of the team of the Girona Convention Bureau, which is the department devoted to generating MICE tourism business in the Girona area. After spending five years in this department, she moved on to the Business Development Area, where she has been a technician, managing European projects. She is in charge of managing and overseeing the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme (COSME), the CCI PirineusMed Cross-Border programme (INTERREG POCTEFA) and Erasmus + programmes. Additionally, she is responsible for the management and organisation of seminars and talks for SMEs, as well as for liaising directly with companies and public administration bodies for the management of other joint projects.
